From Nursery to Kindy

Children are naturally curious and full of wonder, eager to explore the world around them. At Ascot Childcare & Kindy, we nurture this curiosity by maximizing each child’s potential and laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.

Our engaging, play-based program is designed to foster positive long-term outcomes, tailored to each child's unique strengths, interests, and needs.

With a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 5 years, we support their growth, development, and smooth transition to school.

Nursery

As the first five years are critical for the foundation of the learning process, our Nursery is designed to develop an awareness of both baby and the world around the young child within a warm, caring and family-based environment.

Focusing on sensory learning and development. This prepares the children for future learning and the transition into our Toddler Room. Babbling and chattering begins in this group and it is at this stage that communication begins to develop.

Our Centre has a dedicated outdoor environment for our Nursery children.

Toddler

Our team will provide a safe and stimulating environment for your little Toddler. Toddlers are beginning to discover the world around them and enjoy a wide range of experiences that help them become confident little people. They are able to move around more independently and become active explorers.

Throughout the day Toddlers will enjoy a wide variety of stimulating activities, small and whole group interactions, free play and some quiet times.

Juniors

Our Junior Kindy program offers positive experiences through lots of hands on learning. Children of this age are starting to seek out and accept new challenges, make new discoveries and celebrate their own efforts and achievements and those of others.

Our educators ensure that all children experience pride in their attempts and achievements. They challenge and support children to engage in and persevere at tasks and play.

Pre Kindy

In our Pre-Kindy room, we provide a high-quality program designed to support the unique needs of every child. This stage is an exciting new experience where children develop social skills in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Our experienced educators guide children in building positive relationships by modeling effective communication strategies, and encouraging them to initiate interactions and participate in play. We thoughtfully design our learning environments to foster small-group interactions and meaningful play experiences, helping children develop confidence, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.

Kindy

Ascot Childcare & Kindy offers a fully accredited Kindergarten Program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). The kindergarten team are experienced, knowledgeable, passionate and committed to providing the best possible play based learning programs that reflect the purpose, perspectives, principles and outcomes prescribed within the QKLG.

What is a Kindergarten program? In Queensland the kindergarten year is the year prior to the Prep Year of schooling. Children can participate in a kindergarten program in the year before they start Prep, at school. This means your child will be at least 4 years old by 30 June in the year they participate in a kindergarten program.
